The third shelter under consideration by the Hope Floats for Veterans is the yurt. It would be easy for us to make with Aircrete/EPIC mix and our 16 foot diameter grain bin.

Amazing One Of A Kind Yurt - Full Tour + Pros & Cons of Yurt Living. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gzVqc_P6tMA&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR2_LagnuTDIITcAaHA38vI-FzxmlNQPWXAr6gxT0CrrVX9Sm4g3GHANQQI

In this video we are sharing our experience spending a couple of nights in a traditional Mongolian yurt but one that has a really neat modification: floor to ceiling windows along one wall. We love yurts because they're portable, affordable, and made with natural materials. We're going to give you a full tour of the yurt we stayed in, as well as the pros and cons we anticipate from using a yurt as a full time alternative housing option (even during winter). This yurt was handcrafted in Mongolia and imported by our friends at Groovy Yurts. For more information about Groovy Yurts, you can visit their website here:
