Lucia World Stove Demonstration
A fantastic presentation of the LuciaStove by Nathaniel Mulcahy. A carbon negative energy solution for developing communities.
This is a game changer. The layering of purposes get us excited! The creation of jobs for our homeless veterans, all of the numerous benefits of soil remediation with biochar, cooking, heating our floating tiny homes and even electricity production can be achieved with this healthy virtuous ecosystem. Lucia stoves can be made larger to produce at scale (500 kg of biochar per hour) or smaller for cooking on a hiking/camping trip. I was amazed at how little fuel was used during the demonstration. We will reach out to Lucia Stove/Worldstove.com. This is a great solution for our needs. (6 parts to the presentation) It was time well spent! The Lucia stove has been around for a while (videos indicate 2012) , but an older good ideas can converge with new technologies and make a difference for human survival by reducing CO2 levels in our atmosphere.
Drop by drop is the water pot filled. Likewise, the wise man, gathering it little by little, fills himself with good. Buddha
Our mantra: "Launching many parallel, low-investment experiments." We want to compete for Elon Musk's X-prize Challenge for $100 million dollars to scale a way to remove CO2 from the air cost effectively.
